2024 Season Thread

Was a great 2023 Season, looking forward to 2024 as we go to early FA. We now have 7 open teams, and hope to get that cut in at least half ASAP. The longer the AI runs a team, the more screwed up the roster gets.

I enjoy rebuilding rosters, will be interesting to see how it works out for the Jets, Ive got 18 cuts coming up on the next sim. Good luck to all, should be another good season in the DFL. cheers

How did TC & Pre season go for you? No complaints for the Jets, still looking to upgrade a couple of positions, will be looking at the trade block, waivers, and FAs. cheers

Been a busy offseason and lots of excitement in titletown...with a new veteran starting QB, an improved defense and the emergence of some rookies during TC we believe our team can take the next step and win some more football games

Probably just luck and the new sim engine, I am sure you will get me the next time around

Nice shutout vcr/Houston, you def have 4.4 down well, need to get the Jets more in line with it. must still be thinking that the passing game is anywhere near where it was in 4.3 , lol. Apparently, having a 90+ rated QB is not an advantage in 4.4, 60 raters work just as well. if not better. cheers

Thanks - yeah it looks like only one attribute really matters with QBs now. I know it is very much over-corrected, but it feels good after giving up 500+ yards passing with regularity in 4.3.

I would have much rather beat you in League 6, but I won't look down my nose on this win .... even if it feels like I just poked the bear and will pay for it down the road.
