Minnesota Making Changes

After losing three in a row, and four of five, there was a push to right the ship in Minnesota. In a bold surprise move, the Vikings ownership team gathered their top coaches on Monday night and thanked them all for their many years of service. Then, the HC, OC, and DC were replaced on the spot with new, hand-picked coaches fresh from the college ranks.

Samuel Rackley leaves the Vikings with a record of 153-52 over eight years, with four super bowl appearances and two rings. At the young age of 41, he's still hungry to coach and will surely catch on somewhere else. D Coordinator Wayne Johnson (106-33 as DC) is sure to jump to the HC ranks and, if he chooses to continue coaching, OC Zhang (62-20 as OC) will be a great addition to another team.

It looks like Minnesota has decided to make some needed changes to the offensive playbook and might be tinkering with a 3-4 Defense in this reconfiguration. As a result, many of the Vikings players may find themselves to be an ill fit for this regime and may be offered for trade in the offseason.
