In the MFN game, Kurt Warner would be akin to finding a 50 or 60 Ai default rated QB in the FA pool, that no one had wanted but your weights have him in the low 70s, and there's a couple of key attributes that you notice along with a 90+ QBR pre-season stat before he was cut, so you decide to give him a try and he rewards you with a 100 QBR season and the LC.

Probably the most legendary tackle, was by Eagle LB and 2 way player Chuck Bednarik's hit on Frank Gifford of the Giants in the 1960 NFL Championship game. That tackle kept Gifford from getting to the endzone, caused a fumble/turnover, and preserved the championship win for the Eagles. Bednarik's nickname was "Concrete Charlie", he was one of the meanest, toughest players in the history of the game. They had to stretcher Gifford off the field and he was in the hospital for a few days after the game.

Here's link to a video of "The Hit" along with great highlights from the game ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qo0WUCcs_gs

Another player who had a major impact on the NFL and changed the game was WR Don Hutson, who spent his entire 11 yr career with the Packers starting in 1935. The combination of his exceptional speed, receiving skills, and the ball being smaller and sleeker opened up the passing game in the NFL. His senior season at Alabama he was a consensus All American along with the Crimson Tide being National Champs. The other end/receiver on that team was Paul "Bear" Bryant.

Hutson is considered to have been the first modern receiver, and is credited with creating many of the modern pass routes used in the NFL today. He was the dominant receiver of his day, during which he was widely considered one of the greatest receivers in NFL history. Hutson was inducted as a charter member of both the College Football Hall of Fame in 1951,[50] and Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1963, he's the only player to have been a charter member of both.

Here you go Gus, the Jets finest hour. Super Bowl 3, I remember watching that game and rootin for the Jets & Joe Willie. Was one of the most memorable Super Bowls for me, and the first Super Bowl win for a team from the AFL. Jets were a 14 point dog!

that is such a great pic of Joe in the game. The Colts DL wanted to hurt him bad, and they were monsters, had a ton of sacks during the reg season and playoffs.

One of my fav NFL logos of all time was the Patriot logo. I was an AFL fan when the league really got going good in the mid 60s. The Patriot's Jim Nantz was the first RB to gain over 1,000 yards in back to back seasons, #35.
